Our mission is to enable young people in the Lochaber area of the Highlands of Scotland identify and fulfil their potential.

The Buzz Project enables young people to express their needs, wants and ideas with confidence, develop increased self-awareness and learn skills which will benefit them in education and the workplace.

With its own refurbished bus, The Buzz Project provides a mobile music studio and teaching area using music as a medium for communication, expression, learning skills for the future and building relationships. Music is a universal language which enables the expression of difficult themes…

The Buzz Project
It’s been a while since we’ve done an update post and we haven’t taken many pictures recently but that doesn’t mean nothing has been happening. Through March we have:🎵supported young people to apply to college🎵supported young people with cv writing and interview skills🎵had a lot of karaoke sessions at studio 2! These have been fab and it’s been great to see everyone’s confidence develop!! 🎵Drawn more art work on the walls! We love that the young people are really making the space their own! 🎵played a lot of chess! These games are very competitive and one lasted an hour and a half with almost the whole studio invested!There’s a lot coming up in April. The college students have their final performance of the year on the 25th, Mandy will be speaking to @becky_drinkwater on @nevisradioofficial on the 10th, and there are some new projects that are still under wraps for now but we will be revealing some shortly! ... The Buzz Project
We wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the kind words, cards and generous donations that we have received following Julie’s passing. It has been an incredibly difficult time but we have felt very supported by those around us. Julie was such a big part of the project, she’d tell everyone that all she did was bring cakes for a wee gossip, but anyone who knew her knows that she did so much more than that.
